8/15/18: Please welcome Axel! His owners were no longer able to care for him due to having a sick child so they turned him over to their local Humane Society. The Humane Society called us to take him in. He needs to be neutered, have his teeth cleaned, have his palate shortened and have his nostrils widened. We are currently treating him for an ear, eye and skin infection. He has been diagnosed with dry eye in his right eye and will need prescription eye drops for life.
He is seven years old. He likes dogs, cats and children.
Update 8/28/18: Axel had his surgery today and all went well! He will see the vet next week for a follow up to make sure all of his infections have cleared up.
Update 10/13/18: Axel has been adopted! Congrats Axela nd Marks family!
Update 8/23/19: Axel is back with us. He was having a few behavior issues that need to be addressed and it was no longer suitable for him to be living with a child.
Update 9/15/19: Axel seems to be doing well but could benefit from some training (like all bullies).
Update 10/18/19: Axel has been adopted. Congrats Axel and Kelly family!
May 6, 2023 – Axel crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. Please keep his family in your thoughts.
