9/5/17: Please welcome George! He joins us from Carroll County Animal Shelter. He was part of a cruelty case and has spent the last four month under vet care while his owner was charged. We are told George was kicked down a flight of steps and was not able to walk. He is feeling much better and able to walk although he does look a little funny when he does. He is safe with us now. He needs to be vaccinated, neutered, have his teeth cleaned and have entropion surgery. He has a horrible skin infection and an eye infection. He will have surgery once his skin infection clears up. He will also see the orthopedic specialist for a consult on his legs and walking issues.
He is three years old. He likes dogs. We do not know at this time if he likes cats or young children.
Update 9/19/17: George saw Dr Cross today and he does not have any orthopedic issues that need surgery. His legs should get stronger over time. He will also try PAWS shoes for dogs to help with traction.
Update 10/2/17: George had surgery today and all went well. He was neutered, had his teeth cleaned and an entropion surgery on his eyes.
Update 11/10/17: George has been adopted by his foster mom. Congrats George and Brande!
