9/21/16: Please welcome Chubbs! He was a stray that joins us from Coweta County Animal Control. Unfortunately he is heartworm positive. They vaccinated and neutered him at the shelter. We are treating a respiratory infection now and once that clears up he will begin his heartworm treatment. He is five years old. We know he met and did not like two smaller dogs but not sure if that was because of stress or if he really is dog aggressive. We will evaluate him after his heartworm treatment. We do not know if he likes cats. He does like older children but was very excited around the younger children he met. We will be ready for adoption once he completes is heartworm treatment.
Update 10/29/16: Chubbs completed his heartworm treatment and and has been cleared for adoption.
Update 2/11/17: Chubbs decided he was very happy at his foster home and that he would not be leaving. Congrats Chubbs. Greta and Curt!
September 27, 2022 – Chubbs crossed over the Rainbow Bridge today. Please keep his family in your thoughts.
Rest In Peace Chubbs
