11/9/14: Please welcome Finn! Tesha found Finn wondering around on a very busy road in her neighborhood. She attempted to find his owner by knocking on doors and posting him on many different lost and found pages on FB. She took him to a vet to see if he had a microchip but he did not. She new our rescue would be the best place for him so she called us and asked for help. Kelly picked him up from Tesha and he spent the night at her house.
He has fleas and smells as if he has a skin infection. He is not neutered. He is approximately three years old. At this time we do not knowif he likes dogs or cats. He did get to know two seven year old kids during his sleepover.
Update 11/10/14: Finn made his way to Dr Rush’s and upon exam he does have a skin infection. We began treating this with antibiotics.
Update 11/11/14: Finn had surgery today. He was neutered and had lower entropian surgery on both eyes. He will be moving into his foster home this afternoon. He will be going back to see Dr Rush in two weeks for a recheck and to have his stitches removed.
Update 11/13/14: Finn moved into his foster home. He is getting along well with his foster brother. He also has some kids living with him part time and he likes them too. We did find out he is heartworm positive. He is heading to Dr Ross’s on 12/1 to begin his four weeks of heartworm treatment. He will be ready for adoption once that is complete.
Update 12/30/14: Finn finished his heartworm treatment and is ready for adoption.
Update 1/4/15: Finn has been adopted! Congrats Finn, Otis, Zeb and Kevin!
December 13, 2020: Finn crossed over the Rainbow Bridge today. Please keep his family in your thoughts.
Rest In Peace Finn
