1/14/17: Please welcome Patron! His family brought him into his life in 2011 but the family child has developed allergies to him and is suffering from other health issues. They are sad to see him go but trust that we will find the perfect home for him.
He is already neutered but having some potty issues. At this time we do not know if they are medical or behavior issues. We are running some tests to see. He was born deaf but knows some hand signals. He is also on prozac for anxiety issues.
He will be nine years old later this month. He is good with dogs but is afraid of larger dogs. He has never been around cats. He is good with small children.
He moved into his foster home with two other deaf dogs today. He will be ready for adoption once we get a handle on the potty issues.
Update 2/12/17: Patron has had zero potty issues since moving into his foster home. It would seem that his previous issues were not medical only behavior. He is doing great in his foster home and is ready to find a new family to call his own.
October 6th, 2017 – Paton crossed over to the Rainbow Bridge today. He had a hemorrhaging tumor in his abdomen and he is filled with blood. He also began having seizures a few weeks back. Rest In Peach Patron.
