Czar – April 10th, 2021

3/29/16:  Please welcome Czar!  Czar was saved from the side of road by a kind woman that took him to a vet to be scanned for a microchip.  He did not have a microchip or a tag.  She contacted us to see if we could help him.  He has a horrible skin infection and smells very bad from the yeast.  He will be neutered once his infection has cleared up.  We are waiting on a culture report to be sure we are using the best medications for him.  For now he is on oral antibiotics and getting medicated baths every other day.  He also has dry eye and a double ear infection.

He is six years old.  At this time we do not know if he likes cats but he likes dogs and children.

He will be available for adoption once his infections clear up and he recovers from surgery.

Update 5/5/16:  Czar had a consultation with the dermatologist Dr. Griffies today.  Poor guy is covered in bacteria.  His ear infections has cleared up a lot but we still have a long way to go on his skin.  We added another medication to his daily routine and having increases his medicated baths to every other day.  Good think he doesn’t mind the bath tub!  He is doing great in his foster home and loves people near his new people.

Update 9/30/16:  Czar had his surgery today and all went well.  He was neutered and had his palate shortened.  We are still working with the dermatologist to get all of his skin issues under control.

Update 1/1/17:  Czar has been adopted by his foster parents.  Congrats Czar, Greg and Janet!

April 10, 2021: Czar crossed over the Rainbow Bridge today.  Please keep his family in your thoughts.

Rest In Peace Czar
