4/26/16: Please welcome Clover to GEBR! Clovers owners took her to the vet to be put to sleep. They were moving to a new house and Clover was getting older and was peeing everywhere so they did not want her in the new house. Luckily the vet did not put her down! Instead he offered to keep her and test her for a UTI. It turns out she had a UTI and could not control herself. She was also 20 pounds overweight. The vet kept her for a month while her UTI cleared up and helped her lose weight. A friend of our rescue, Carol, found out about her and brought her into her home and kept her safe for a few months waiting for one of our local foster homes to open up. She will have surgery next week to have her palate shortened and have her teeth cleaned.
We believe she is around 8 years old. She likes dog and cats and is good with older children.
Update 5/2/16: Clover had her surgery today and all went well! She will move into her foster home this week.
Update 5/4/16: Clover moved into her foster home and is settling in nicely. She is living with two english bulldogs and two cats. She is loving life!
Update 7/10/16: Clover picked out her new parents! Congrats Clover, LuLu and Jim!
