Angus

11/2/18:  Please welcome Angus!  He joins us from Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter.  He is malnourished, has a severe skin infection, has dry eye and needs to be neutered.  He is only 4o pounds but needs to weigh 55 pounds.  He needs to gain a few pounds before we will move forward with surgery. He has been diagnosed with dry eye and will need prescription eye drops for life.

He is four years old.  He likes dogs.  At this time we do not know how he feels about cats or young children.

Update 11/12/18:  Angus had his surgery today and all went well.  He was neutered, had his palate shortened and had his saccules removed. His skin is looking much better but he will need more time and he needs to gain more weight.  He will see the vet again in two weeks to have his neuter stitches removed and get a recheck on his skin.

Update 12/6/18:  Angus had his recheck today and is up to 50 pounds! His hair is growing back in but he still has some scabs and infected patchy places on his skin so we will continue the antibiotics, simplicef, and Apoquel for itching. He will have a recheck again in two weeks.

Update 12/28/18: Angus has been adopted!
