Joe – October 13th, 2017

8/25/16:  Please welcome Joe!  Joe’s owner moved away and left him in the house because someone was going to go by and pick him up. That someone never came for Joe.  His owner called a friend of hers and luckily for Joe she immediately went to the abandoned house to pick him up.  Joe is in desperate need of dental surgery; he has many teeth that are decaying and need to be pulled out.  The infection must have gotten into his bloodstream because he is lethargic and no longer eating.  He is with Dr Rush now on fluids and he will undergo surgery as soon as he is feeling better.

He is nine years old.  He likes dogs, cats and children.

Update 8/29/16:  Joe had his surgery today and all went well.  We removed a number of teeth, cleaned the remaining ones and he had his palate shortened.  He will move into his foster home in a few days.

Update 9/1/16:  Joe is feeling great since his surgery! He is running around like a happy healthy puppy!

Update 12/15/16: Joe has been adopted by is foster family. Congrats Joe and Terry family!
